Leslie Dishman, MSHS, MA

Leslie Dishman is passionate about promoting health and wellness in communities of need. She works with organizational leaders, providers, and frontline staff to plan and implement sustainable changes that improve patient care.

Over the last 10 years Leslie has worked in the private, public, non-profit, and academic sectors providing consultation in practice transformation, continuous quality improvement, program evaluation, and data storytelling. Before joining CIBHS, Leslie worked with the largest public mental health system in the nation – the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health- where she worked in partnership with behavior health clinics to implement practices that improved patient care and demonstrated value for payors. Leslie currently works with substance use providers in Los Angeles County where she assists agencies in the implementation of systems that meet the standards of the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS). Leslie focuses on helping providers tap into the root causes of challenges and develop targeted plans for improvement. At CIBHS, Leslie also creates and delivers trainings that provide agencies with tools to deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate services to their patient population.

Leslie holds an MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Southern Illinois University,  a MS in Health Sciences and Integrative Medicine from George Washington University, and a BA in Psychology from Hampton University.
