Self-Management Supports

HELD: Wednesday, June 17, 2020, 10:00am – 11:30am (PST)

Please join us for the webinar: Self-Management Supports. This is the eighth webinar in the 12-webinar series, Minimizing Disruptions in Care Through the Use of Behavioral Telehealth (Video and Phone). The goal of this webinar is to introduce participants to the values, components, and interventions of self-management supports. The topics of self-care and the stress vulnerability model will be explored in detail in order to connect the dots between the trauma effects of COVID-19 and the work participants do daily in behavioral health.

Learning Objectives include:

  • Participants will be able to list the seven core principles of wellness management for supporting behavioral health clients with self-managing stress.
  • Participants will be able to list at least three examples of effective queries for engaging behavioral health clients with relapse prevention planning.
  • Participants will be able to list the four components of relapse prevention planning for supporting behavioral health clients with developing a relapse prevention plan.

This webinar series is intended to not only build skills in telehealth, but also to highlight some of the learning from the field in offering behavioral telehealth services. We want to hear from you, so please bring your innovations, success stories and learning from your own transition to telehealth resulting from COVID-19.
