CIBHS provides data collection/management and evaluation services
to a range of clients including counties, community-based
providers, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and
other government agencies such as commissions and oversight
bodies as well as doing special projects, focused studies, and
foundations – both quantitative as well as qualitative
analysis. Evaluation of evidence-based practice
implementation, fidelity, outcomes, and effectiveness as well as
consumer experience of care surveys are two major components of
the team’s works.
CIBHS is also responsible for supporting quality-focused internal
program evaluation studies for other teams and services at
CIBHS.
CIBHS has been funded by DHCS to support the
Measurement, Outcome, Quality Assessments (MOQA) statewide
project. Other projects include the Treat-to-Target,
formerly the Palette of Measures, for children’s evidence-based
practices, the Mental Health Consumer Perception Surveys and
the evaluation of a Community-Defined Practice (CDP).
