This webinar provides a review of the Quality Assurance Standards
and practical advice regarding how to implement the Quality
Standards, and includes four Resources on important aspects of
implementing certain standards. The information and advice will
be useful for county and provider staff charged with successfully
implementing the Standards. It will be particularly useful to
counties that have recently opted in to the Waiver, or will in
the future, or those who can benefit from a practical review.
The Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) waiver
permits counties to selectively contract with providers of DMC
services and establishes requirements for counties to follow in
selecting contractors. This training will provide counties an
understanding of the DMC-ODS requirements for selective
contracting, and support counties to conduct selection processes
that are in compliance with state and federal requirements,
efficient and timely, and select the highest quality providers.
This training will assist counties in identifying the existing
modalities for DMC-ODS Waiver services and the infrastructure
needed to integrate additional modalities as required by the
Special Terms and Conditions.
The DMC-ODS Waiver Forum of the California Institute for
Behavioral Health Solutions (CIBHS) has invited Joan Erney, Chief

Addiction Services to present a 90-minute webinar describing the
Medicaid managed care landscape in Pennsylvania, the
implementation challenges for behavioral health services, and the
lessons learned since the implementation of the county system in
1997.
The DMC-ODS Forum of the California Institute for Behavioral
Health Solutions (CIBHS) hosted a 90-minute Webinar providing an
